Landmark Pinnacle

Landmark Pinnacle stands on Marsh Wall in Millwall on the Isle of Dogs in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. It is a 75-storey residential skyscraper, the tallest of its kind in the United Kingdom and the tallest residential building in western Europe. The tower rises 233 metres above the Docklands, a short distance west of Canary Wharf’s financial centre. It has more habitable floors than any other building in western Europe and is the fourth-tallest in the country. The site once held the City Pride pub, which closed in 2012 before the current tower was built. The building’s 75th floor contains the United Kingdom’s first residential tropical terrarium gardens. These Panoramic Sky Gardens cover 6,350 square feet and are split into East and West sides. They hold over 3,500 plants from around the world and offer sweeping views over Canary Wharf and the City of London. Landmark Pinnacle has won several awards, including the Premier Guarantee Awards for Quality Recognition in 2021 and 2022. It also received the Excellence Award in 2021 and the Best Luxury High Rise Living prize at the 2023 Luxury Lifestyle Awards. Visitors to the tower find a mix of 822 residential units and 162 serviced apartments alongside shared amenities. The building replaced the former City Pride pub, which closed in 2012 after the site changed hands several times. Nearby, a linked development at 443–451 Westferry Road provided 173 affordable homes as part of the same planning process. The tower’s height and design make it a prominent feature of the Isle of Dogs skyline.
