22 Marsh Wall

24 Marsh Wall, also called Landmark East, is a 44-storey residential skyscraper in Docklands, London. It stands among the tallest structures in the city and forms part of The Landmark, a residential neighbourhood on the Isle of Dogs. The Landmark includes Landmark West at 22 Marsh Wall, a 30-storey tower, and two mid-rise apartment buildings. These buildings occupy a prominent position near the financial centre of Canary Wharf, within a five to ten-minute walk. The towers sit close to the River Thames and Riverside South, a large office development. Landmark East was designed by Squire and Partners with Hoare Lea and Manhire Associates. The taller eastern tower rises 140 metres across 44 storeys, making it one of Europe’s tallest residential buildings. Its shorter neighbour, Landmark West, reaches 98 metres over 30 storeys. In 2007, all 276 apartments were reserved, and the development won Best High Rise Development and Best High Rise Architecture in the Daily Mail UK Property Awards. Luxury shops occupy the ground floor within a glass-covered piazza, and residents have access to a 24-hour concierge and gymnasium. Visitors find a striking skyline of modern residential towers in a well-planned setting. The towers overlook the River Thames and the Canary Wharf estate, offering views of the surrounding Docklands.
