Northwich Memorial Hall

Northwich Memorial Hall stood in the centre of Northwich, Cheshire, as a theatre and concert venue. It opened in 1960 to mark the end of the Second World War. Famous acts such as The Beatles, The Who and Thin Lizzy performed on its stage. The hall closed in March 2013 and was soon demolished. A new building now occupies the site. It opened in May 2015 as a multi-purpose arts and leisure centre. The design recalls the old Memorial Hall and the nearby Magistrates Court. It is run by Brio Leisure for Cheshire West and Chester Council. Northwich Memorial Court offers a theatre, concert venue, gym and swimming pool. The theatre seats 400 people for performances. The leisure centre provides spaces for sport and events throughout the year.
