Buidhe Bheinn

Buidhe Bheinn is a mountain summit in the Highlands of Scotland. It stands on the route from Glen Shiel to Loch Hourn and Loch Quoich. The mountain is marked by a small cairn at its highest point. It is listed as a Corbett, a category for peaks between 2,500 and 3,000 feet. The summit also qualifies as a HuMP, a hill with a minimum height of 100 metres. The mountain is recognised in the Scottish hill classification system. It appears on the Database of British and Irish Hills, where its height was last confirmed in 2003. The Database brings together measurements from several hill-climbing societies. Buidhe Bheinn is included alongside other Scottish peaks over 610 metres and those over 3,000 feet known as Munros. A walker reaching the top finds a wide view across Glen Shiel and the surrounding lochs. The final climb is straightforward, following a clear path to the cairn.
