Beinn Bhreac

Beinn Bhreac is a mountain summit in Argyll and Bute, Scotland. It stands on the route between Loch Long and Loch Lomond in the Highlands. The mountain reaches 681 metres and is marked at grid reference NN321000. It belongs to three hill lists: Marilyn, Graham and HuMP. Organisations update and verify these lists on the Database of British and Irish Hills. The peak is one of many in Scotland measured for height and prominence. Its latest survey was completed on 28 October 2001. The name is taken from Gaelic and efforts continue to record the original form. Walkers often include it on routes between the two lochs. Visitors reach the summit by following paths from the surrounding glens. The view extends over Loch Lomond to the south and the peaks of the Trossachs to the east. The slopes are grassy and rocky in places, with no built structures at the top. The route offers quiet upland scenery away from crowded trails.
