Therapia Lane

Therapia Lane is a light rail stop on the Tramlink service in the London Borough of Sutton. It sits close to the Purley Way commercial area and near the boundary with Croydon. The stop is one of only two Tramlink stops within Sutton borough, the other being Beddington Lane. Just to the west lies Therapia Lane Depot Staff Halt, a two-platform stop used only by staff. This halt had been closed since March 2021 due to narrow platforms preventing social distancing during the pandemic. The stop provides frequent tram services in both directions. Off-peak, six trams per hour run between Beckenham Junction and Wimbledon. Another six trams per hour travel between Elmers End and Wimbledon. Services use modern low-floor trams from Bombardier and Stadler, making travel accessible. London Buses routes 463 and S4 serve the tram stop. Passengers can change between trams and buses for free within an hour under Transport for London’s Hopper Fare scheme. The area around the stop is mainly commercial, with easy access to shops and transport links.
