Dollis Hill tube station

Dollis Hill is a London Underground station in the London Borough of Brent. It sits between Neasden and Willesden Green on the Jubilee line. The station has two exits, one on Chapter Road to the north and another on Burnley Road to the south. Metropolitan line trains pass through without stopping. The area around the station includes nearby Gladstone Park. The station opened in 1909 as part of the Metropolitan Railway. Its art deco platform buildings were designed by Stanley Heaps and completed in 1938. In 1995, artist Amanda Duncan installed enamel panels in the subway. These panels show maps of Dollis Hill from the 16th to the 20th century alongside star map interpretations. The station was refurbished in 2007 with new lighting, tiling and security cameras. Trains on the Jubilee line run every three to six minutes during service hours. London bus routes 6, 52, 98, 226, 260, 266, 297, 302 and 460 serve the area. Night route N98 also calls nearby. The station provides a quiet stop in a residential part of London with easy access to local parks and bus routes.
