Beinn Reithe

Beinn Reithe is a mountain in Argyll and Bute, Scotland, rising 653 metres above sea level. It stands 127 metres higher than the surrounding terrain and has a base width of 1.8 kilometres. The landscape around the peak is mostly rugged and hilly. Helensburgh, the nearest town, lies 17.3 kilometres to the south. The area is covered mainly by mixed woodland. The mountain offers a clear view of the surrounding countryside and Loch Lomond. Walkers often climb it for the open summit and the sense of isolation. The path follows the ridge, giving long views over the hills and forests. The climb is moderate, making it suitable for those with some experience. The summit itself is broad and grassy, with no technical obstacles. From the top, the landscape stretches in all directions. The mixed forest below changes colour with the seasons. On clear days, the peaks of the Highlands appear in the distance. The route back follows the same ridge, offering different views on the descent. The mountain is quiet, visited mostly by locals and occasional hill walkers.
