St Paul's Girls' School

St Paul’s Girls’ School stands in Brook Green, Hammersmith, in West London. It is a private day school for girls aged eleven to eighteen. The school occupies part of the endowment created by John Colet in the sixteenth century. The Mercers’ Company founded the school in 1904 to complement Colet’s boys’ school. Gerald Horsley, an architect and member of the Art Workers Guild, designed the buildings. The school’s main theatre is named after alumna Celia Johnson.
