The Wildseeloder is a mountain in the eastern Kitzbühel Alps of Tyrol, rising to 2,119 metres. Its base in the valley is the village of Fieberbrunn in the Pillersee valley. The northern slopes form a ski area used in winter. A small lake called the Wildsee lies west of the summit in a hollow shaped like a circle. A mountain hut, the Wildseeloderhaus, stands beside this lake.
The Wildseeloder is well known among ski tourers in the cold months. The Wildsee offers a calm spot before the climb, and the Wildseeloderhaus provides food and rest. The usual route starts in Fieberbrunn and goes north over the Lärchfilzkogel before reaching the hut and the final slope.
Visitors find a clear path from Fieberbrunn that passes through open slopes and light woods. The Wildseeloderhaus sits at the water’s edge with views back to the valley and forward to the rocky top. The lake reflects the mountain in calm weather, and the summit ridge gives wide views across the Kitzbühel Alps.
