The Lohnbachfall is a waterfall formed by the Lohnbach stream in the Waldviertel region of Lower Austria. Its course runs underground for about 300 metres beneath moss-covered granite blocks. The stream descends through several steps, the most noticeable of which is eight metres high.

The water remains hidden most of the year, but during snowmelt or heavy rain it bursts out in white, hissing jets from cracks in the rock. The force of the water creates fountains that spill over the granite slabs. This spectacle only appears when the flow is strong enough to overcome the underground route.

Visitors can walk along the Zellersteg, a bridge that crosses the stream above the fall. The path can be entered from either the east or west side of the bridge. The site has been protected as a natural monument since 1982. The surrounding forest adds to the quiet atmosphere of the place.
