Žerotínský palác

The Žerotín Palace is a stately town residence in the historic centre of Olomouc. It grew out of older noble houses that were joined together and rebuilt in Renaissance style into a single distinguished seat. In the late sixteenth century it served the Moravian noble family of Žerotín as one of their residences, and later it passed into the ownership of the city. In the nineteenth century it was united with the neighbouring building. Today Palacký University uses the complex on Purkrabská Street for its Faculty of Education.
