Haringey Borough F.C.

Haringey Borough Football Club plays in Tottenham, a district of the London Borough of Haringey. The club was formed in 1973 by merging two local sides, Edmonton and Wood Green Town, which had been founded in 1907 and 1911. They now compete in the Southern League Division One Central and share Coles Park with tenants Greenhouse London. The ground has been their home since the merger, having previously hosted Wood Green Town since 1930. Coles Park has hosted matches for the 2018 ConIFA World Football Cup and has seen record attendances during FA Cup and FA Trophy ties. The club’s history includes several promotions, relegations and cup successes across different leagues. They won the London Senior Cup in 1990–91 and the Essex Senior League in 2014–15, earning promotion to the Isthmian League. In 2018–19 they reached the first round of the FA Cup for the first time, drawing 1–0 to AFC Wimbledon in front of 2,710 spectators. Their women’s team has also competed at higher levels, winning the Eastern Region Women’s League Premier Division in 2016–17 and reaching the second round of the Women’s FA Cup. Visitors to Coles Park find a ground with a capacity of 2,500, including 280 seats. The pitch is surrounded by a small stand and open terracing, giving an intimate matchday atmosphere. The club shop sells merchandise near the entrance, and programmes are available on matchdays. The ground is close to White Hart Lane station and local cafés, making it easy to combine a visit with other activities in Tottenham. On matchdays the area buzzes with fans arriving early for pre-match refreshments.
