The Josko Arena stands in Ried im Innkreis, a town in Upper Austria. It is a football stadium and the home ground of SV Ried. The arena replaced the older Rieder Stadium, which now serves mainly for athletics and training. The new stadium was built on the site of the former Rieder Messe. It holds 7,300 spectators and was opened in 2003. The name comes from its sponsor, Josko. The arena is designed as a pure football stadium without an athletics track. This brings fans close to the pitch and creates a strong atmosphere. The west stand behind one goal is reserved for SV Ried fan clubs and offers standing room. The away sector can hold about 600 visiting supporters. In 2013, a VIP area with 500 seats was expanded and now has two price categories. The stadium also has a family sector called the Fussl Wikinger Corner. Visitors find a modern arena with covered stands and no running track. The pitch has turf heating installed in 2013. Floodlights provide 1,200 lux for matches. Press workstations have fibre optic internet. The family sector offers 376 smoke-free seats.
