Pfarrkirche Dobermannsdorf
The parish church of Dobermannsdorf stands in the eastern part of the village in the municipality of Palterndorf-Dobermannsdorf, Gänserndorf district, Lower Austria. It is a Roman Catholic church dedicated to Saint Andrew and belongs to the deanery of Zistersdorf within the vicariate of Unter dem Manhartsberg in the Archdiocese of Vienna. The church and the former cemetery are protected as historic monuments. The parish was first mentioned in 1250 as a foundation of the House of Liechtenstein. The present building replaced an older church between 1900 and 1901, funded by a donation from Prince Johannes II of Liechtenstein and designed by architect Karl Weinbrenner. The church is a fine example of unified Neo-Gothic style, enclosed by a stone wall around the former graveyard. Inside, the church features a four-bay nave under a ribbed cross vault, leading through a pointed arch to a single-bay choir with a five-sided apse under the same vaulting. The tower at the west end rises with pointed niches and an octagonal bell chamber topped by a steep spire. The furnishings, including altars and organ, were installed in 1901 and remain largely unchanged, with the organ built by the Rieger brothers.
