Northwick Park tube station

Northwick Park station stands on the Metropolitan line in Kenton, part of the London Borough of Brent. It sits between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Preston Road stations in fare zone four. The station’s name comes from the nearby public park. Northwick Park Hospital and the University of Westminster’s Harrow campus are close by. Kenton station on the Bakerloo and London Overground lines is within walking distance, with an official out-of-station interchange. The station is served only by all-stations trains, with an average journey time of twenty minutes from Baker Street. Northbound services run every fifteen minutes at peak times, heading to Amersham, Chesham, Uxbridge and Watford. Southbound trains run every ten minutes to Baker Street and every fifteen minutes to Aldgate via Baker Street. On the island platform stands one of the few surviving K8 telephone kiosks. The kiosk, now used for Transport for London’s internal system, is Grade II listed. The station’s surroundings include the park and hospital, with bus routes H18 and H19 stopping nearby.
