Y Foel Goch

Y Foel Goch is a grassy mountain in Snowdonia, north-west Wales. It stands beside its sister peak Gallt yr Ogof and overlooks the smaller Glyder Fach. Between Glyder Fach and the summit lies Llyn Caseg-fraith, a lake often chosen for photographs of Tryfan and its reflection. The ridge runs east from Y Foel Goch to Gallt yr Ogof. The summit is marked by a small cairn and offers views of Moel Siabod, Tryfan and Glyder Fach. These bulky neighbours dominate the skyline around the top. The grassy slopes are broken by a few small rock outcrops. A visitor finds a quiet grassy summit with a modest stone marker. The lake below is popular with photographers. The ridge to the east leads on to Gallt yr Ogof.
