Euston Tower

Euston Tower stands in the London Borough of Camden beside Euston Road. It is a 36-storey skyscraper completed in 1970. The building was designed in the International style by Sidney Kaye Eric Firmin & Partners. It rises 124 metres above Hampstead Road. The site was assembled by developer Joe Levy from properties along Euston Road. Early tenants included Inmarsat and Capital Radio. The tower formed part of a mixed-use scheme with offices, shops and apartments. George Wimpey constructed the building. Its clean lines and tall profile marked a modern presence in 1970s London. Visitors see a tall, rectangular block of glass and concrete. The tower rises above surrounding streets and rooftops. From the pavement along Euston Road its height is clear. The building’s simple form shows the International style. It remains a landmark in Camden’s skyline.
