Crealy Theme Park & Resort

Crealy Theme Park & Resort lies just outside Exeter in Devon, spread across more than 100 acres of countryside. It began in 1989 as a working farm before growing into a family theme park with over 60 rides and attractions. The park now includes live shows, animal attractions, and Sooty Land, a themed area opened in 2022. It also offers accommodation with lodges, campsites, and glamping options at Crealy Meadows nearby. The park has added several rollercoasters since 2000, including the spinning wild mouse Twister in 2015. Exotic animals were introduced in 2011, and the Animal Barn now houses both zoo and farm animals. The park’s history reflects steady growth and change. It started as Crealy the Great Farm Adventure, where visitors could watch cows being milked in a state-of-the-art dairy unit. In 1992, the name changed to Crealy Country, and new attractions like quad bikes and a bumper boat lake were added. The Adventure Zone opened in 1995, followed by the Magical Kingdom in 1997. A major milestone came in 2000 with the first rollercoaster, Maximus, and more were added in 2014 and 2015. A pirate-themed ride, Pirate’s Plummet, is set to open in 2026. Visitors find a mix of rides, shows, and animal encounters across the park. Thrill rides and rollercoasters stand alongside water rides and indoor play areas. Sooty Land features four rides, a themed store, and a live show. The Animal Barn lets guests meet zoo and farm animals in one place. Crealy Meadows offers camping, caravan pitches, themed tents, and luxury lodges for overnight stays. The park continues to expand, with new attractions planned for the coming years.
