Trecastell

Trecastell is a small farm and agricultural area on the Isle of Anglesey, just inland from Porth Trecastell beach. It lies within the historic county of Anglesey and the community of Aberffraw. The nearest town is Llangefni, eight miles away, while Bangor is the closest city. The farmland stretches gently towards the coast, with open views across the countryside. The site is quiet and rural, with no major buildings or tourist facilities. A working farm remains the main feature, surrounded by fields and farm tracks. Nearby, the nearest primary school is Ysgol Glancegin and the nearest secondary is Ysgol Uwchradd Bodedern. The closest railway station is Tŷ Croes, a short drive away. Visitors find open farmland, narrow lanes and distant glimpses of the beach. There are no visitor centres or marked trails here.
