Arsenal Football Club Museum

The Arsenal Football Club Museum stands in Holloway, London, on club property beside the Emirates Stadium. It is run by the club itself and tells the story of Arsenal from its early days to the present. The building sits in the Northern Triangle, a small area of land north of the stadium. Visitors find shirts, boots and trophies that mark key moments in the club’s history. Charlie George’s 1971 FA Cup shirt and Michael Thomas’s boots from the 1988–89 title-clinching match against Liverpool are on display. A special trophy marks the 2003–04 season when Arsenal won the Premier League unbeaten. The museum moved here after Highbury closed in 2006. It had previously been in the North Bank Stand of the old stadium from 1993. Over 120,000 people visit each year to see the exhibits and learn about the club’s past.
