Arena Wiener Neustadt

Wiener Neustadt Arena is a football stadium on the northern edge of Wiener Neustadt in Lower Austria. It stands beside an industrial estate, close to the Aqua Nova swimming pool and the SCWN training ground. The Arena Nova concert hall lies just to the west, and the pitch itself holds 4,000 spectators. The ground opened in September 2019, replacing the old Stadion Wiener Neustadt which was demolished the following year. SC Wiener Neustadt men’s team and the women’s national side play their home matches here. In 2024 the Vienna Vikings brought four European League of Football games to the arena. After only two years the club and the Austrian Football Association upgraded the facilities to meet international standards. Visitors find a single-tier bowl with standard football dimensions and modern floodlighting. The pitch is surrounded by a continuous concourse and a row of executive boxes above. On match days the concourse offers food kiosks and toilets, while the car parks lie immediately outside the turnstiles. The Arena Nova’s glass façade reflects the floodlit pitch at night, marking the stadium’s place in the city’s sporting quarter.
