Chelsea Theatre

Chelsea Theatre is an independent studio theatre on the Kings Road in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. It reopened in 2020 after a major renovation that turned it into a modern creative and community hub. The theatre serves the local areas of World’s End and Cremorne and beyond. Its purpose is to support creativity and culture from all parts of the community. It also reaches out to Greater London and the rest of the world. The theatre provides flexible spaces for artists, audiences and the community to connect and explore ideas. It includes learning and rehearsal studios, meeting rooms, indoor and outdoor exhibition and performance venues. There is also a community café, a terrace bar, a 120-seat theatre and a cinema. The building is fully accessible to everyone. Visitors find a welcoming space where creativity is encouraged and shared. The café and terrace bar offer places to relax between events. The 120-seat theatre hosts performances while the cinema shows films. The indoor and outdoor venues provide spaces for exhibitions and smaller performances.
