Cogges Manor Farm Museum

Cogges Manor Farm lies on the edge of Witney in Oxfordshire, a short distance from the town centre. Once a working farm, it now serves as a heritage centre run by a charitable trust. The site sits beside the River Windrush and is surrounded by common land and pasture, giving it a quiet, rural feel. Medieval barns stand alongside a walled vegetable garden and an orchard. A disused moat winds through woodland on the edge of the grounds. The farm shows how food is produced and how rural life has changed over centuries. It runs workshops for schools and adults on food production, local history and crafts. Traditional festivals, plays and private events take place in the barns and grounds. The site also offers a place for families to meet, feed animals and explore the surroundings. It belongs to the old Royal Hunting Forest of Wychwood, though it is not inside the Cotswolds.
