Histon Football Club plays in the village of Histon in Cambridgeshire. The first team now competes in the United Counties League Premier Division South. They have always been based at Bridge Road in Impington, where the ground has stood since the club’s foundation in 1904. The club’s nickname, the Stutes, comes from its earlier name Histon Institute. The club crest shows a rose, recalling a field given to the community by the jam-makers Chivers and Sons. Histon’s history shows steady progress through local and regional leagues. They won the Eastern Counties League Premier Division in 1999–2000 and again in 2018–19. In 2006–07 they became champions of the Conference South, earning promotion to the National League.
