Cow Cave

Cow Cave is a limestone cave system on the south side of Chudleigh Rocks near the town of Chudleigh in Devon. The entrance is arched and stands about 4.5 metres high and 5 metres wide. Historic England lists the cave as a Scheduled Monument, first protected in 1992. The cave contains important deposits from the Paleolithic period. A major excavation took place in 2016.
