Warwick Business School

Warwick Business School stands on the University of Warwick campus in Coventry, a modern university site beside the city’s ring road. Founded in 1967 as the School of Industrial and Business Studies, it became Warwick Business School in 1988. The school has grown from five staff and 24 students to more than 300 staff and thousands of students across 26 programmes. Its main building sits among landscaped lawns and mature trees on the western edge of the campus. A second London site opened in 2014 on the 17th floor of The Shard, focusing on executive education. The school is one of the UK’s leading business schools. In the 2021 Research Excellence Framework it ranked joint fifth for business and management studies. It holds triple accreditation from AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS, placing it among the top business schools worldwide. Notable alumni include Linda Jackson, former CEO of Citroën, and Bernardo Hees, former CEO of Kraft Heinz and Burger King. The school’s research spans operational research, finance and behavioural science, led by professors such as Steve Alpern and Söhnke Bartram. Visitors to the Coventry campus find a modern business school building with lecture theatres, seminar rooms and study spaces. The London site in The Shard offers panoramic views across the capital.
