Meall an Fhudair

Meall an Fhudair is a mountain peak in Argyll and Bute, part of the Scottish Highlands. It lies on the route from Inveraray to Crianlarich and is marked at grid reference NN270192. The hill is classified as a Marilyn, Corbett and HuMP, terms used by hillwalkers to describe prominence and height. Its height was last remeasured on 15 January 2003 by surveyors working with the Database of British and Irish Hills. Several organisations contribute to maintaining these lists of Scottish summits. The name is taken from Gaelic, reflecting the area’s linguistic heritage. The summit offers wide views across the surrounding glens and lochs.
