Kašny v Olomouci

Olomouc is a city of fountains. Around forty five of them can be found here, eight dating from the baroque age. Originally they were simple practical water tanks, and yet every baroque basin was given an architectural shape of its own. Six of the most important ones were created one after another and placed with great sensitivity at the busiest points of the old town. Showing figures of ancient mythology, they rank with the Holy Trinity Column among the national cultural monuments.
