Wohldorf-Ohlstedt

Wohldorf-Ohlstedt is a northern district of Hamburg in the borough of Wandsbek. It lies between the quarters of Duvenstedt, Lemsahl-Mellingstedt and Bergstedt. Beyond Hamburg’s boundary it meets three rural municipalities in Schleswig-Holstein. The area is Hamburg’s most northerly and one of its wealthiest neighbourhoods.

The quarter belongs to the Alstertal-Walddörfer electoral district in state elections. It has a single U-Bahn station providing transport links. The surrounding countryside includes woodlands and farmland typical of the Walddörfer region.

Visitors find quiet streets lined with detached houses and large gardens. The landscape is gently rolling, with fields and small forests nearby. There are no major landmarks, but the peaceful atmosphere reflects its status as an affluent suburb.
