The Roman Catholic parish church of Saints Philip and James stands on a gentle rise above the village of Glaubendorf in Lower Austria. It belongs to the Heldenberg district and the Schmidatal deanery, part of the Archdiocese of Vienna. The building began as a fortified church in the Middle Ages and still carries that defensive character today. Protected as a listed monument, it has watched over the settlement for centuries.

The church’s history reaches back to at least 1283, when a priest was first recorded here. The parish was reorganised in the 19th century after a long period as a branch of the church in Rohrbach bei Ziersdorf. Major changes came in 1865–66 when the medieval structure was enlarged, and again in 1910 when Joseph Hübsch painted the colourful ceiling medallions. The twin spires and neogothic tracery windows give the exterior its striking silhouette against the surrounding countryside.

Inside, the church presents a three-aisled hall with ribbed vaults resting on massive octagonal piers. The north aisle and choir date from around 1300, while the organ loft and furnishings were added in the 19th century. High above the high altar, figures of Saints Philip and James flank a painted Christ in Majesty. The stained-glass windows of 1910 show local patrons and saints, and the late-gothic sacrament niche holds an iron grille. The whole interior glows with neogothic woodwork, from the pulpit carved with the Four Evangelists to the choir stalls and pews.
