The Dreifaltigkeitsberg rises above the town of Spaichingen in the Swabian Alps. Its flat-topped limestone crest reaches 985 metres, giving the mountain the look of a wide wall. A Baroque church dedicated to the Holy Trinity crowns the summit. The site began as a shepherd’s discovery of a small Trinity chapel, which soon drew pilgrims. Limestone layers have shaped the mountain’s distinctive plateau.

The mountain is a pilgrimage destination with centuries of devotion behind it. Legends tell how a shepherd found the first chapel after a vision of the Trinity. The present church, built in the 18th century, still hosts processions and services. From the summit visitors can see the Black Forest and the Danube valley. The clear air and sweeping views make it a favourite among walkers.

Paths wind through beech and spruce woods to the summit plateau. The church stands at the highest point, its white façade visible from far below. A broad terrace offers space to rest and take in the panorama. On quiet days the only sounds are church bells and bird calls. The mountain’s calm draws both pilgrims and hikers seeking peace.
