Seebarn Cricket Ground
Seebarn Cricket Ground stands in the village of Seebarn in Lower Austria. It is the country’s first ground built only for cricket. The ground opened in 1995 and soon added a permanent sight screen and a pavilion. A second pitch once stood beside the main one from 2001 until 2004. The ground is where Austria’s national team trains and plays. It also hosts the Vienna Cricket Club and international matches. Several tournaments have taken place here since the ground opened. Visitors find a grass pitch with a small pavilion and sight screen. The main pitch remains in use while the second pitch is no longer there. The ground sits in a quiet village setting surrounded by farmland.
