Slough Museum

Slough Museum is an independent museum in Slough, Berkshire. It presents the town’s past, present and future in two exhibition galleries. The museum now stands on the Slough Trading Estate. A recent exhibition there was organised with SEGRO. It shows how the trading estate developed over time.

The museum began collecting objects in 1986. It opened the same year and now holds ten thousand items linked to Slough’s growth. In 1997 it moved to the eastern end of Slough High Street. A move back to the Trading Estate took place in 2023.

Visitors find two galleries filled with artefacts and photographs. The displays explain how Slough has changed. The Trading Estate exhibition highlights the area’s industrial history. The surroundings include modern business buildings and quiet streets.

Opening hours and admission can change with the season. Check before you go: sloughmuseum.co.uk
