Wheelgate Park

Wheelgate Park is a 30-acre family theme park and water park in Farnsfield, Nottinghamshire. It has two large indoor play centres, a farm and a water park. Formerly called Wonderland Adventure Park, it became part of Bendalls Leisure in 2007. The name changed to Wheelgate Park after redevelopment and expansion. In December 2012 it became Robin Hood’s Wheelgate Park following the addition of a water park that opened in early 2013. The site also hosts UK Escape Games. The park is worth the journey for families with children. The Animal Adventure Zone lets young visitors see rabbits, goats, ponies, snakes, reptiles, a mongoose, llamas, pigs and birds. Each play zone has its own theme, offering different activities. The water park provides extra fun for all ages. The indoor play centres keep children busy whatever the weather. Bendalls Leisure owns nearby theme parks as well, showing the group’s experience in family entertainment. Visitors find themed play zones throughout the park. The Animal Adventure Zone lets children meet farm animals up close. Indoor play centres offer climbing frames and slides for energetic fun. The water park includes slides and splash areas for cooling off. Escape games add another challenge for older children and adults. The farm area gives families a chance to see animals in a relaxed setting. The park’s wide paths make it easy to move between attractions.
