Halver Local History Museum

The Regionalmuseum Villa Wippermann stands in Halver, a town in the Arnsberg district. It occupies a villa built in the 19th century on Frankfurter Straße. The building itself, with its slate roof and tall windows, reflects the period’s style. The museum preserves the town’s past through objects once housed in the old Heimatmuseum. Exhibits include tools from a cobbler’s workshop and a blacksmith’s forge, alongside farming implements. Portraits of local figures and historic views of Halver also feature, keeping memories of the town’s people and places alive. Visitors find displays arranged in rooms that once belonged to the Wippermann family. Large windows let in light over polished wooden floors.
