Denkmal

The Daxenberger-Denkmal stands in Mühldorf am Inn, a town in the Upper Bavarian district of Mühldorf am Inn. It was built in 1880 near the Stadtberg and the railway station footpath. The monument is protected as a listed building. A red sandstone obelisk forms the centrepiece, flanked by two stone benches. The inscription on the pedestal records Anton Daxenberger’s service as a member of the Bavarian parliament from 2 October 1847 to 1848. Born in 1806, he died in 1871. The design combines the obelisk with simple seating, creating a quiet place for reflection. Visitors find a small paved area around the obelisk, shaded by nearby trees. The setting is calm, close to the gentle slope of the Stadtberg. The railway station footpath passes nearby, linking the monument to the town centre.
