Horní Němčice ist eine Gemeinde im Okres Jindřichův Hradec, Tschechien. Sie liegt 20 Kilometer östlich von Jindřichův Hradec und befindet sich im Tal des Studenský potok. Das Dorf liegt am Fuße der Kopanina mit einer Höhe von 643 m. Östlich davon erhebt sich der 759 m hohe Pivničky. Das Dorf wurde 1358 erstmals erwähnt und hatte im Jahr 1870 250 Einwohner. 1830 begann der Schulunterricht, und 1911 wurde die Straßenverbindung nach Brandlín errichtet. Die Gemeinde besteht aus der Ansiedlung Chalupy, ohne weitere Ortsteile. Horní Němčice liegt im Zentrum der Javořická vrchovina. Nachbarorte umfassen Jilem, Studená, Skrýchov, Poldovka, Brandlín, Maršov, Velký Jeníkov, Horní Meziříčko, Palupín und Horní Dvorce. Die Lage am Fuße der Kopanina und die umliegenden Berge bieten einen einzigartigen Landschaftsraum.
