London School of Business and Finance

The London School of Business and Finance is a private business school in central London with additional sites in Tower Hill and Holborn. It was founded in 2003 by entrepreneur Aaron Etingen and later became one of England’s largest private colleges. The school operates under Global University Systems, a Dutch-registered company that also owns several other educational institutions. LSBF offers master’s programmes in management, finance and marketing, as well as executive courses and professional training. Degrees are awarded by external institutions, including the Università telematica internazionale UniNettuno. The school’s growth reflects its rapid expansion in the 2010s, with branches opening in Birmingham, Manchester, Toronto and Singapore. By 2013, LSBF and its affiliated colleges enrolled around 6,000 students and received £13.5 million in tuition fees. It was recognised with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in 2013 for achievements in international trade. However, regulatory challenges led to the suspension of its licence to recruit non-EU students in 2015, requiring some students to transfer or leave the UK. Visitors to the main campus at Sceptre Court in Tower Hill find a modern business school environment with classrooms and administrative offices. The Tower Hill site serves as the headquarters, while the Holborn campus provides additional teaching space. LSBF’s Singapore branch operates from the GB Building in the city’s central business district. The school’s programmes combine full-time, part-time and online learning, supported by an e-learning platform managed by another Global University Systems subsidiary.
