Burg Seelbach

Burg Seelbach, also known as Müller-Schlössle or Börschelsberg, once stood on the Böschlisberg near Schloss Dautenstein in the Ortenau district. The small hilltop fort was mentioned in records from 1786 before being demolished by a nearby quarry. Today nothing remains of the walls or towers that once marked the site. Historians recognise the name from a 1984 study by Hubert Kewitz, published in a regional journal edited by Hugo Schneider.
