Stadion Schnabelholz

The Cashpoint-Arena stands in Altach, a village in Vorarlberg, Austria. It is a football stadium and home ground of SCR Altach, a club in the Austrian Bundesliga. The pitch is surrounded by four covered stands with 8 500 places in total. Nearly half the seats are on the main stand, added in 1998. The rest are on the newer west, south and north stands, all completed between 2008 and 2019. The stadium has grown with the club’s progress. After Altach won promotion to the top flight in 2006, a record crowd of 8 900 watched the first Bundesliga match. Later upgrades included a VIP club, floodlights and a heated pitch to meet league rules. The latest project is a 3 800 m² building due for completion in 2025. It will house the club offices, dressing rooms and a fanshop. Visitors reach the Cashpoint-Arena easily from the Rheintal/Walgau motorway. Landbus lines 181, 186 and 305 stop near the stadium on match days. Three shuttle buses run from Altach station before kick-off, and two more return afterwards. Inside, the covered stands offer clear views of the green pitch and the Alps beyond.
