The parish church of Eugendorf stands in the centre of the market town in Salzburg’s surrounding district. It is dedicated to Saint Martin of Tours and belongs to the Bergheim deanery within the Archdiocese of Salzburg. The building is surrounded by a walled cemetery and protected as a listed monument. The church keeps its annual patronal festival on 11 November.

Inside the church visitors find works by notable artists from the 17th and 18th centuries. The high altars were carved by Wolf Schmidt between 1682 and 1685 in the bold ‘Knorpelwerk’ style. The high altar shows a seated Madonna and Child flanked by statues of Saints Martin and Rupert. The left side altar preserves late Gothic figures of Saints Sebastian and George from around 1500. The pulpit of 1737 is by Christoph Fenninger, and the organ casing dates from 1847.

The church’s exterior mixes Gothic and Baroque forms. The west tower rises five storeys, its lower part in Gothic stonework and the upper part an octagon from 1692 topped by a bulbous dome. The main entrance to the walled cemetery is crowned with spheres. Inside, the nave has a barrel vault on Ionic pilasters and a flat apse framed by pilasters. A double gallery at the west end dates from 1763 and 1847.
