Croft Circuit

Croft Circuit lies near Dalton-on-Tees in North Yorkshire on land once used by an RAF bomber airfield. The tarmac track measures 3.423 kilometres and hosts major British motorsport series. Visitors see the same runways and perimeter roads used for racing since the 1950s. The circuit has featured famous names and national events since its first race in 1964. It introduced British Rallycross to television audiences through ITV’s World of Sport. After a major rebuild in 1997 it became a regular stop for the British Touring Car Championship. On race days the grandstands overlook the extended 2.127-mile layout and modern pits complex. The control tower and spectator areas sit beside surviving wartime buildings on nearby farmland. The circuit’s long straight and tight corners challenge drivers in every series that visits.
