Pfarrkirche hl. Anna, Wörschach
The parish church of Wörschach stands in the village of Wörschach in the Liezen district of Styria. It belongs to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Graz-Seckau and is dedicated to Saint Anne. The church has been protected as a listed building since the 20th century.
Built between 1740 and 1742 as a local chapel of Pürgg, it became a parish church in 1788. Restorations took place in 1956 outside and in 1970 inside. The church has a two-bay nave ending in a semicircular apse, with a ceiling of flat domes supported by stepped wall pillars.
Inside, the high altar dates from the time of construction, while the pulpit was added at the end of the 18th century. A painting of the Annunciation hangs beneath the west gallery, which projects far forward on four pillars. The organ was installed in 1872, and a small spire tops the roof above the west gable.
