Pfarrkirche Hallein-Neualm

The parish church of Hallein-Neualm stands in the Neualm district of Hallein, a town in the Salzburg district of Hallein. It is a modern Roman Catholic church dedicated to Saint Joseph the Worker. The small chapel, which had structural flaws since construction, was removed and replaced by an entrance area with a baptismal font. A lift was installed to make the building fully accessible, and the cellar was expanded into a large event room for community use. Inside, visitors find a bright, modern worship space with clear lines and good lighting. The entrance area now includes a baptismal font and serves as a welcoming space. The lower level provides a flexible hall for gatherings and activities. The building reflects the parish’s move from temporary school-hall services to a permanent, well-organised centre for worship and community life.
