Pfarrkirche Feuersbrunn

The parish church of Feuersbrunn stands on rising ground at the south-west edge of the village in Grafenwörth municipality, Tulln district, Lower Austria. It is dedicated to Saint Giles and belongs to the Hadersdorf deanery under the Vienna archdiocese. Protected as a listed monument, the building overlooks fields and vineyards that stretch toward the Danube. A parish is recorded before 1355, and the medieval core with its west tower survives. A south chapel was added in 1679. In 1761 or 1774 the church gained a late-baroque nave to the east and was re-oriented westward. External restoration took place in 1969 and internal work in 1985. The three matching rococo altars and a ten-stop organ by Franz Reusch (1881) date from these phases. Visitors enter through the west tower into a single nave that opens on to the choir. The altarpieces show delicate rococo carving and gilding. The organ stands on the west gallery above the entrance. Outside, the churchyard wall and mature linden trees frame views across the surrounding farmland.
