Arag-Tower
The ARAG Tower stands in Düsseldorf’s northern district of Mörsenbroich. At 124.9 metres and 31 storeys it is the city’s tallest building. The skyscraper serves as the global headquarters of the ARAG Group, the world’s leading legal insurer. Foster + Partners and Rhode Kellermann Wawrowsky designed the tower together. Hochtief managed the project and completed construction between 1998 and 2001. The final cost came to €46 million. Its sleek glass façade reflects the surrounding cityscape and sky. Inside, the tower houses open-plan offices arranged around a central atrium. The top floors offer panoramic views across Düsseldorf and the Rhine valley. Lifts travel at high speed to the upper levels. The building’s form tapers slightly as it rises, giving it a distinctive silhouette. Visitors find a modern office environment with clean lines and neutral tones. The entrance hall is spacious and well-lit by natural light. The tower sits among lower buildings in a quiet business district. Its height makes it a landmark visible from many parts of the city. The ARAG Group’s logo is displayed prominently near the main entrance.
