Lämpermahdspitze
The Lämpermahdspitze is a 2,595-metre peak in the Stubai Alps of Tirol. It sits on the Serles ridge between the higher Serles and Kesselspitze, so most climbers pass over it on multi-day hut-to-hut tours that focus on those neighbouring giants. The mountain’s modest prominence makes it a quiet companion rather than a destination in its own right. Climbers choose between southern and northern routes. From the south, walkers start at Trins in the Gschnitztal and need only sure footing and a head for heights; the south-west ridge from Mauernjoch offers another straightforward option. The northern approach from Serlesjöchl is far more exposed, demanding absolute sure-footedness on ground rated UIAA I or T5, with a short chimney section graded I+. At the summit visitors find a narrow, airy crest and sweeping views across the Stubai and Ötztal ranges. The surrounding ridges drop steeply into the Gschnitztal on one side and the Stubaital on the other, while the Serles and Kesselspitze dominate the skyline to the north-east.
