Digital Retro Park

The Digital Retro Park is a computer museum in Offenbach am Main opened in 2018. It sits on 200 square metres and displays around forty machines from every era of computing. Visitors may switch on, tap and play with the exhibits themselves.

The museum grew from a 2010 HomeCon meeting in the Rhein-Main region where hobbyists wanted to share knowledge of old devices. Two local clubs joined forces with a technical museum to launch the project. Pop-up shows toured bookshops, cinemas and festivals before the permanent space opened in 2018.

Inside, three permanent displays and one changing special exhibition occupy the single hall. A Commons Café hosts monthly talks and workshops. Once a month the Retro-Rodeo lets guests compete on period consoles and computers.
