The Hoher Stoppelkopf is a 566-metre hill in the Palatine Forest in Rheinland-Pfalz. It stands 3 kilometres north of the small town of Lambrecht. The hill forms part of the watershed between two rivers, the Speyerbach to the south and the Isenach to the north. Two of the Mußbach’s longest tributaries rise on its slopes. Both streams later join the Rehbach, which flows into the Speyerbach.

The hill is known for a hunting lodge called the Hermannshütte, built in 1900 and located about 110 metres north-northeast of the summit. A summit cross was added in 2003 by the Deidesheim branch of the Palatine Forest Club. Nearby, about 2 kilometres to the northeast, lies the Kurpfalz Park, a deer conservation area accessible from Wachenheim via a well-maintained tarmac road.

Visitors reach the summit along forest paths that lead through quiet woodland. The Hermannshütte remains unmanaged, offering a rustic stop for walkers. The summit cross marks the highest point, with views over the surrounding Palatine Forest. The nearby Kurpfalz Park provides an opportunity to see deer in a natural setting. The area is ideal for short hikes or peaceful woodland walks.
